Network Equipment
Our network uses pure Cisco routers and switches. Our core routers are two Cisco Catalyst 6500's. The system is redundant in that if one fails, the other will pick up immediately. All switches are connected to both routers independently for even more redundancy. Our switches are industry standard Cisco access switches, capable of supporting 100mbit and 1 gigabit throughput.
Power & Cooling
The power system is 3 stage redundant with an immediate UPS battery backup supply in case of short term failure and a 1 megawatt Caterpillar diesel generator.
Cooling is provided by five 40-Ton Liebert Air Conditioning Units capable of keeping the NOC at a constant 70 degrees all year round.
